Connecting People and Properties

PK Management, a nationwide property management company based in Cleveland, Ohio, manages more than 10,000 units in more than 100 rental properties across the country. Serving residents in 22 states, PK Management needed a website that would serve as a central hub of information and resources for their renters. It was important that the site speak to and serve the needs of three different audiences: corporations and property owners, prospective tenants, and current residents. The site also needed to mirror and highlight the company’s strong reputation and credibility on a national level.

Our Challenge

Company 119 needed to design an engaging and dynamic website that would fill all of the desired buckets for PK Management. The site needed to convey PK Management’s national brand and their focus on providing affordable housing options with quality amenities to prospective tenants or anyone unfamiliar with their company. In addition, the site needed to include two custom tools: a property finder and a resident portal.

The site uses engaging imagery and high-quality photos of the PK Management team to convey their brand and company culture. If someone visits the site for the first time, they will have a positive impression of the company and the services they offer to prospective residents. The Home page quickly and visually communicates key facts about the company and speaks to their national presence.

The dynamic property finder tool was built from scratch by our developers and designed to be easy to use, engaging, and helpful. Prospective tenants can view a map of the United States and filter their property search by location, type of housing, and number of bedrooms. Each property listing includes interior photos, key details and amenities, and contact information, as well as links to share the property through social media channels. In the future, this property finder tool will be enhanced with geo-location capabilities, meaning a user will see properties available closest to their current location.

The website also takes the guesswork out of requesting a property maintenance service request. Residents can simply click on the Resident Portal to complete a quick form. After they select their property and provide a quick description of the repair service needed, their request will be submitted to the PK Management team.

The new website for PK Management truly elevates their brand, better explains who they are and what they do, and serves as a stellar marketing tool for the organization.

The Result

The design and implementation of the properties page was hit right on the nose and the difference in look and usability is tenfold. Our in-house responses have all been positive and everyone agrees that this exemplifies who we are and what we offer. We’re excited for the website to be live and for current and future tenants to start navigating it.
