Cleveland Lumber Company is an independent lumber and hardware company serving Northeast Ohio. The company partnered with Company 119 to help more strongly convey the message that they are not only a well-stocked lumberyard but also offer an expansive inventory of special products and hardware, many of which are only available in Greater Cleveland through Cleveland Lumber. At the time, Cleveland Lumber had a basic e-commerce platform that did not reflect their brand or adequately showcase their products.

Our Challenge

Cleveland Lumber tasked Company 119 with the creation of a responsive, custom e-commerce website that would reflect their breadth of products and grow product sales online. This new website would serve as the foundation for a focused digital strategy, including local search marketing and pay-per-per click marketing, to grow online sales as well as drive traffic to their bricks and mortar store.

Cleveland Lumber Website Showcase

Our work began with the new responsive website design, which features an inviting, warm color palette that evokes Cleveland Lumber’s brand and engages users. Brands and featured products are showcased on the Home page, allowing visitors to immediately see the full scope of products available.

The custom-built e-commerce design has a central focus on product. All product pages feature detailed descriptions and high-quality photographs and videos. Company 119 also built a fully functional backend for the client to manage the product listings. The client can easily upload videos, write new product descriptions, and make other enhancements as needed. The site also features a user-friendly shopping cart function. From any device, users can add or remove items from their online cart and complete a secure checkout. The ease of this process leads to a positive user experience and increased product sales.

The website is at the core of the focused sales and marketing strategy developed by Company 119 for Cleveland Lumber. The site is continually optimized and enhanced for stronger local and organic search performance. In addition, Company 119 manages highly targeted pay-per-click marketing for Cleveland Lumber that aligns with seasonal product focuses.
