The site is designed to be simple to use and maintain by the client. Company 119 custom built an integration with the Maple Leaf’s print publishing system.
It is designed to pull stories from the newspaper and post them to the website. The site also has a customizable home page manager so that Maple Leaf employees can easily drag and drop content, add new content, and make updates as necessary.
The website features integrated social media for easy social sharing and Facebook commenting. This allows readers to engage with the news as well as fosters a sense of community online.
Company 119’s redesign of the Geauga Maple Leaf website successfully brought their publication to a large digital audience, increasing readership, interaction, and engagement.
