Coast to Coast Gift Basket Company, a new online gift basket business based in Northeast Ohio, recently approached Company 119 to develop and produce a digital video for their business. Our website design team had recently finished the design and development of their brand new custom e-commerce website, featuring a simple, step-by-step basket building process. Coast to Coast wanted to produce a video that would introduce both the new business and showcase the ease of use of the website, while also featuring the wide variety of high-quality products they offer for inclusion in their baskets.
Our digital video production team prepared for the video shoot through detailed conversations with Coast to Coast about their preferences for style and content, as well as what feeling they hoped the video would evoke regarding their new brand. Because this video would be the first introduction to the company for many viewers, it was essential that the video accurately depicted all aspects of the brand and the products. We selected Geauga Park District’s Swine Creek Reservation for the location of the video shoot, as the beautiful, airy cabin and roaring fire in the fireplace created a fitting, warm backdrop to the video that reflected Coast to Coast’s style.
The final video, a 30-second commercial, is the preferred length to be used across many channels. For now, it is primarily being used for social media marketing and online video ads, allowing viewers to see the gift baskets and click through to their website.
